A conversation with Krzysztof Sienkiewicz, director of the Żubroffka film festival (Poland), after the selection screening WHEN THE IMPOSSIBLE BECOME POSSIBLE. Polish short meter

Krzysztof is a cultural activist, a propagandist of Polish cinema in Poland and abroad, an employee of the Bialystok Cultural Center, and an activist of DKF Gag (several times nominated for the award of the Polish Film Institute). Co-organizer of Filmowe Podlasie Attacks!, Żubroffka International Short Film Festival, and international film workshops for children, youth, and seniors. In his free time, he is a movie buff.

Conversation with Damian Kocur (Poland), director of the film "Bread and Salt"

Damian Kocur is an emerging Polish director who drew attention with his brilliant short films, distinguished by their rough style and radicalism. After a successful full-length debut at the Venice Film Festival, he showed another short at Cannes (made in collaboration with the Ukrainian director Anastasia Solonevych) and is already working on his second feature film.

The meeting participants will share their experience of working with local cinema and its representation at international festivals. Let's talk about how to present national cinema to a wide European audience and what initiatives there are for its development and promotion.

The meeting will be moderated by Sasha Prokopenko, program director of the Kyiv International Short Film Festival (KISFF).

Online conversation with Paul Negoescu (Romania), director of the film "Men of Deeds"

Paul Negoescu presented his full-length debut, "A Month in Thailand", at the Venice Film Festival when he was only 28 years old. His second feature, a wild comedy, Two Lottery Tickets, was a hit at the Romanian box office and gained him popularity in his homeland. Paul Negoescu is one of Romania’s most impressive emerging directors who developed under the influence of the Romanian new wave.
